Features and peculiarities of the entrance tests and examinations for people with disabilities

Tuvan State University has created logistical and technical conditions that allow a kind of unhindered access for applicants with disabilities.
There are rooms for applications with disabilities and disabled people, which are equipped with the necessary things including ramps, lifts, handrails, expanded doorways. If there are no elevators the rooms are located on the first floor. The address is Kyzyl, 3 Lenin street.
Entrance tests and examinations for applicants with disabilities can be conducted in separate classrooms. The address is 3 Lenin street.
The number of applicants with disabilities in one audience should not exceed:
in the case if passing the written entrance test - 12 people;
entrance test in the oral form - 6 people.
It is allowed to have a larger number of applicants with disabilities in the audience during the entrance test, as well as conducting entrance tests for applicants with disabilities in the same audience together with other applicants, if this does not create difficulties for applicants when passing the entrance test.
It is allowed to have an assistant in the audience during the entrance test from among the employees of the organization (University) or involved people who provide the necessary technical assistance to applicants with disabilities, taking into account their individual characteristics (to take a workplace, move around, read and issue a task, communicate with examiners during the entrance test).
The duration of the entrance test for applicants with disabilities can be increased by the decision of the organization, but not more than 1.5 hours.
Disabled applicants are provided with the information about the entrance exams procedure in a form that is accessible to them.
Applicants with disabilities can use the technical means and devices which are necessary for them due to their individual characteristics during the entrance exams.
During the entrance tests and exams the following additional requirements, depending on the individual characteristics of disabled applicants, should be taken into consideration:
for blind people:
tasks of the entrance test are made out in raised-dot Braille or in the form of an electronic computer document with specialized software for the blind, or the tasks should be read out by an assistant;
tasks are written on paper in raised-point Braille or on a computer with specialized software for the blind, or are dictated by an assistant;
if necessary, blind applicants are provided with a set of writing materials and paper for writing in raised-point Braille, as well as a computer with specialized software;
2) for the visually impaired:
individual illumination (light) is provided;
applicants with poor eyesight are provided with a magnifying glass; it is also possible to use their own magnifying devices;
tasks, as well as instructions about the entrance tests procedure, are written in an enlarged size;
3) for the deaf and the hearing impaired:
the sound-amplifying equipment is provided;
sign language interpreter’s services are provided;
4) for the deaf-blind, the services of a sign interpreter are provided (in addition to the requirements that are provided for the blind and deaf)
5) for people with severe speech disorders, the deaf and hearing impaired, oral entrance tests are given in writing (additional creative (or) entrance tests of creative and (or) professionally oriented entrance tests for admission to the master's degree program-by the decision of the organization);
6) for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, disorders of motor functions of the upper extremities or lack of upper extremities
written tasks are fulfilled on a computer with specialized software or can be dictated by an assistant;
written entrance tests can be taken orally (additional creative (or) entrance tests of creative and (or) professionally oriented entrance tests for admission to the master's degree program-by the decision of the organization).
The mentioned devices and conditions are provided if there is the written application for admission which contains information about the need and necessity to create and provide the appropriate special conditions for disabled applicants.
